News archives May 2000 Hallmark is no.1 PR Consultancy FOR THE SIXTH YEAR in a row, Hallmark Public Relations has been ranked as the leading South Coast public relations consultancy. In the annual PR Week magazine survey of consultancy income, Winchester-based Hallmark PR was ranked ahead of all competitors in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex. "1999 was an excellent year for Hallmark PR. Not only did we achieve growth of more than 20 per cent but we also scored as one of the 50 top performing consultancies in the UK over the past five years," said managing director Dr Tom Watson. The consultancy also rose 10 ranks in the Top 150 consultancies, as judged by PR Week. Hallmark PR undertook a wider range of international work in 1999, with the gaining of a major client in Chile, as well as campaigns for property clients in many parts of the UK. "We have great loyalty from our clients who often recommend us for new business," said Tom Watson. "In November last year, we celebrated 15 years in business and among our guests was one client which has been with us for 14 years and many who have been advised by Hallmark for five to 10 years."
