Hallmark PR wins people development award
A top industry award for staff training and development has been won by Winchester-based
Hallmark Public Relations.
The consultancy gained the Silver Award for Best People Development from the Institute of Public
Relations at its Cream Awards event in Windsor.
Hallmark PR was commended by the judges for its extensive training activity, that includes an
account executive training programme and per head expenditure that is well above industry averages.
"We gained the Investors in People in 1997 and this has helped us develop training programmes for all staff,"
said managing director Dr Tom Watson. "Training and staff development has aided the expansion of the business
and improved our service to clients."

The award and certificate were presented to Tom Watson (l) and fellow director Helen Symes (r) by Katherine
O'Donovan (c), assistant director of the Public Relations Consultants Association that sponsored the Best
People Development Award. |
