Hallmark is No.1 PR consultancy

For the eighth year in a row, Hallmark Public Relations has been ranked as the leading South Coast public relations consultancy.

In the annual PR Week magazine survey of consultancy income, Winchester-based Hallmark PR was ranked ahead of all competitors in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex.

"2001 was a challenging year for Hallmark PR. Despite a tough market, we grew 11 per cent year-on-year," said managing director Dr Tom Watson.

Amongst the clients gained by Hallmark last year were Southampton-based Bowman Power, Drum Housing Group, the Mobile Telecommunications Advisory Group and Explosion! the Museum of Naval Firepower in Gosport.

And 2002 is on course to be another successful year for the PR consultancy with gains over the last three weeks alone set to bring in an additional £10,000 worth of new business a month.

Tom Watson added: "We are delighted that the market is showing signs of a recovery. It's not been an easy ride but the continuing efforts of all staff on developing the business are definitely paying off."

Hallmark PR works closely with many high profile clients in the UK and abroad focusing on business awareness, issues management and community relations campaigns. Its clients span a wide range of industry sectors including property, energy, social housing, professional services and leisure.
